Breaking News: Disney purchases Lucasfilm LTD...
In a recent business deal between Lucasfilm owner/ founder George Lucas and Walt Disney, Lucas sold his company to Disney for, 4.05 Million dollars. With almost half served in cash. Lucas shocked all his fans earlier this year when he retired from the head of his cooperation (but still owning 100% of it), and giving the throne to friend and producer Kathleen Kennedy. Kennedy is still CEO, but not under different command. If this is blowing your mind, and upsetting you stop now. Because what your about to read may make you hit your computer.
A new Star Wars film is slated for release in 2015...
He expressed his interest in remaining a creative consultant on any new creations such as film and television. But expressed more interest in saying that he'd like to see the Star Wars series handed down to a younger generation of filmmakers. I know this may be a lot to take in. His most quoted line was the one below, what will now become of the most original, inventive, amazing saga of all time?
"For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next,” said George Lucas.

The Walking Dead Season 3, Episode 2 Review...
(Spoilers Ahead)
A machete to the face as the Ricktator Ship rumbles on, Herschel stumbles back to life, Carl mans up again and kills some Walkers, Maggie accepts everyone's impending doom, Beth continues to cry, T-Dog and Darrell assist Rick in owning some Walkers, the prisoners (3 of 5) get killed and one only dies from being eaten alive, Lori is continuing to feel guilty, Andrea and Michonne are no where to be seen, Carol has herself a little science experiment, and Glenn unfortunately is yet to do really much of anything. Now this episode was no where near as well written, acted, or directed as last weeks. But boy does it still deliver more then most other episodes in the series. Once again pushing the limits of violence on TV, and once again making those 16 year old fan boys cheer with joy as Rick terminates and does what needs to be done. A peculiar difference with this episode is, that it only focuses on Rick and the group, leaving the other subplot concerning Andrea and Michonne , and the impending return of Merle and the arrival of The Governor. But from the looks of the next episode it may exclude on the Rick and the group main plot, for better or worse. After all this, I with the rest of the world have some burning questions. What or who was watching Carol, what will Darrell do when he sees his long lost brother, just how serious or evil is Rick really becoming, will Glenn do anything at all any time soon, who is dying next, how pissed is Merle, how much will The Governor screw up, will Rick and Lori make up or are they done for ever, how will Carl continue to deal with apparent puberty, what will the remaining prisoners do with their life's, who is in that helicopter!, and gnarly violent is this show gonna push it. Tune in next Sunday at 9/8c for next episode of, The Walking Dead.

The Saints are not marching in...
A few weeks ago, according to The Walking Dead and and The Boondock Saints star Norman Reedus, he said that him and his on screen brother Sean Patrick Flanery were going to meet Boondock director Troy Duffy to discuss the "upcoming" Saints 3 film. But apparently, Reedus's new tweets say otherwise .
"no part three. sorry guys
"we were under the impression too. it’s all good. we wish him luck.
So this doesn't mean that there won't ever be a third installment....just not anytime soon. The violent/Irish part of me is now crushed.

Seven Psychopaths Review...
A great movie, about someone failing to write a movie. Seven Psychopaths, written and directed by In Bruges director Martin McDoughal and staring a party of amazing actors and assorted talents is a genre jumping crime film, that similar to Tarantino's work, actually works. With plenty of swearing, dismembering , and exploding heads, there is also a very good feeling of heart, and intelligence. And ultimately personally, a very easy film to relate to. Anyone who is an aspiring writer/filmmaker will concur. This movie is by no means for everyone hell I'm not sure if it's for anyone but me, but I like it so much that I am indeed recommending it to you. By all means watch this, but do not expect any specific genre, for which is it's trademark is to throw you through a genre storm, ranging from hilarity to tear jerker, to 14 year old boy violence. With Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson, Colin Farrell, and Sam Rockwell all at the top of their game and this as one of my favorite films of the year, it ultimately, is a 8/10.

The 12 Horror films you must watch before Halloween...
1. The Cabin in the Woods- A hilarious, original, creepy, and nerd lover's homage dream to the horror genre.
2. John Carpenter's The Thing- The most gruesome/violent, and real looking sci-fi horror films, ever.
3. George Romero's Night of the Living Dead- The original zombie horror classic that started it all.
4. Alien- Like The Thing, it mixes original sci-fi, with claustrophobic horror, almost perfectly.
5. Evil Dead 2- A comically violent, disturbing, and scary treat for aspiring independent film makers.
6. John Carpenter's Halloween- The inspiration of slasher films, right next to Psycho this horrifying independent slasher, is in an inspiration
7. 28 Days Later- An original take on the "zombie" genre, and a whole new face to realistic horror.
8. Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm St.- Simply, it really does make you afraid to ever sleep again.
9. The Evil Dead- Is it funny, no one really knows, is it violent, extremely, is it an awesomely low budget horror movie that is creepy as hell? Oh yes.
10.George Romero's Dawn of the Dead- As one of the best sequels of all time, George Romero, proves he is the master.
11. Paranormal Activity- Some people say it doesn't scare them. I don't believe them.
12. Dawn of the Dead (2004)- An action packed, stylized, zombie thriller. Not too scary...but running zombies? That's scary.

Sinister Review...
A horror movie thats 75% good, and only 20% scary, and 15% god awful horror movie cliches. A mathematical break down of Ethan Hawke's new fright flick from the producers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious. Now-a days it is very hard to make an original horror film, let alone original film in general. This movie, i'm still not quite sure weather or not it is (the actual story). But I do know, that the style of film making, for the most part, was inventively refreshing. Though unfortunately, the cliches cannot be scared away from the film. It does indeed suffer from a god awful last 15 minutes, a awfully stupid main character (but appears to be highly intelligent), and a few failed attempts at scaring me. Luckily though, and oddly enough, there wasn't that many attempts. Which was the best part of the film. The Cabin in the Woods, a "horror" film released earlier this year, and one of the best movies to be released this year, was a horror movie, that wasn't trying to scare, and it worked. Sinister, is no where near as good, or original, or intriguing as Cabin, but it seems to follow, almost, in it's foot steps. Which for the first hour and 15 minutes, really works for it. Ultimately, a 7/10.

The Walking Dead Season 3 premiere review ...
The Walking Dead has set the tone for season 3. Riveting, relentless, unpredictable, non stop, violent, cold, and terrifying. Rick and his group, now seemingly learned how to work together, after surviving the winter, have found a new safe haven, the prison. As they take it by force throughout the episode with a massacre or relentless violence, we slowly learn how each character has changed. Lori became more concerned about her family for obvious reasons, Rick is now the Rictator, Glenn and Maggie are a tag team in love, Herschel looking like Moses himself has "stumbled" across a handicap, Carl is becoming more his fathers son, T-Dog has gained some serious brute force killing power, Carol has stopped crying and apparently taken a fancy to Darrel, Darrel has became Tonto to Rick's Lone Ranger, and Herschel's other daughter has learned to sing. Meanwhile, newly introduced (finally) Michonne impressively shows off her sword skills and aids to a seemingly half dead Andrea. A lot has happened for one episode, and alot has been lost (like a leg). Stay tuned next Sunday at 9/8c on AMC for the next episode of, The Walking Dead.

Ridley, you sly dog...
Oh Ridley Scott, why must you chose to ruin one of my favorite sci fi films of all time? Please do not make a follow up to BLADE RUNNER, and please do not have it intertwine with one of my other favorite sci fi films ALIEN....they don't mix McDonald's and Burger King do they? No, don't cross the streams man. N4_L.
