The Walking Dead Season 3, Episode 2 Review...
(Spoilers Ahead)
A machete to the face as the Ricktator Ship rumbles on, Herschel stumbles back to life, Carl mans up again and kills some Walkers, Maggie accepts everyone's impending doom, Beth continues to cry, T-Dog and Darrell assist Rick in owning some Walkers, the prisoners (3 of 5) get killed and one only dies from being eaten alive, Lori is continuing to feel guilty, Andrea and Michonne are no where to be seen, Carol has herself a little science experiment, and Glenn unfortunately is yet to do really much of anything. Now this episode was no where near as well written, acted, or directed as last weeks. But boy does it still deliver more then most other episodes in the series. Once again pushing the limits of violence on TV, and once again making those 16 year old fan boys cheer with joy as Rick terminates and does what needs to be done. A peculiar difference with this episode is, that it only focuses on Rick and the group, leaving the other subplot concerning Andrea and Michonne , and the impending return of Merle and the arrival of The Governor. But from the looks of the next episode it may exclude on the Rick and the group main plot, for better or worse. After all this, I with the rest of the world have some burning questions. What or who was watching Carol, what will Darrell do when he sees his long lost brother, just how serious or evil is Rick really becoming, will Glenn do anything at all any time soon, who is dying next, how pissed is Merle, how much will The Governor screw up, will Rick and Lori make up or are they done for ever, how will Carl continue to deal with apparent puberty, what will the remaining prisoners do with their life's, who is in that helicopter!, and gnarly violent is this show gonna push it. Tune in next Sunday at 9/8c for next episode of, The Walking Dead.
